These air fryer chicken wings come out golden, juicy, and crisp with very little effort. A simple coating of oil and seasoning lets the chicken shine, making them perfect for game day, parties, or an easy dinner with your favorite dipping sauce.
If needed, split the chicken wings into drumettes and flats at the joints and discard the wing tips. Pat the wings dry, then toss them in a large bowl with the oil and your chosen seasoning until evenly coated.
Arrange the wings in the air fryer basket or tray in a single layer, leaving a little space between them. Air fry at 180C/350F for 35 minutes, turning or shaking halfway through if your machine does not have a paddle. Check that the wings are cooked through and tender, then cook for another 5 minutes if needed until the skin is deeply crisp. Transfer to a serving bowl right away and serve hot with dipping sauce.
For extra-crispy skin, pat the wings very dry before seasoning and avoid overcrowding the basket. You can use Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, lemon pepper, or a simple mix of salt and black pepper. Leftover wings keep well in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and can be reheated in the air fryer for 4 to 5 minutes to crisp them up again.
