Elevate your appetizers with these three quick and versatile dipping sauces. From a simple tangy vinegar to a savory soy blend and a spicy garlic agave mix, these recipes are the perfect companions for crispy spring rolls or dumplings.
For the Tangy Black Vinegar sauce (Option 1), serve your spring rolls with a side of Chinese black vinegar. For a more balanced flavor profile, stir in a small pinch of sugar until it is completely dissolved.
To make the Savory Soy & Worcestershire sauce (Option 2), combine the sugar and hot water in a small bowl, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Mix in the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and rice vinegar, then stir well.
For the Spicy Garlic & Agave sauce (Option 3), whisk together the agave nectar (or honey), rice vinegar, sambal oelek, soy sauce, and finely minced garlic in a separate bowl until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
For a deeper flavor, allow the spicy garlic sauce to sit for at least 15 minutes before serving. If you prefer a thinner consistency for the savory soy sauce, add an extra teaspoon of warm water. These sauces also pair beautifully with potstickers and gyoza.
