These garlic black pepper stir-fried green beans are a quick, flavorful side dish made with simple pantry staples. Tender-crisp green beans, sweet onion, and fragrant garlic come together in one skillet for an easy vegetable recipe that pairs well with almost any meal.
Trim the green beans if needed. Thinly slice the onion and garlic. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, then add the black pepper and let it bloom for a few seconds.

Add the sliced onion and garlic to the skillet. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring often, until the onion begins to soften and the garlic is fragrant.

Add the green beans and stir-fry for about 7 minutes. Season with the pink Himalayan salt, then continue cooking for 2 to 5 minutes more, stirring frequently, until the beans are tender-crisp or cooked to your liking. Serve warm.

For the best texture, do not overcrowd the pan. Regular salt can be used in place of pink Himalayan salt, and avocado oil or vegetable oil works well instead of olive oil. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat in a skillet.
