These honey garlic pork chops are sweet, savory, and ready in just 15 minutes. A quick glaze of honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and garlic gives the pork a glossy finish and big flavor with very little effort.
In a small bowl, stir together the honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and finely chopped garlic until smooth. In a separate bowl, combine the vegetable oil and melted butter.
Heat a griddle pan or heavy skillet over high heat until very hot. Brush the pork chops all over with the oil-butter mixture, then season lightly with salt and black pepper.
Cook the pork chops for 4 to 6 minutes, turning once halfway through, until browned and cooked through. Transfer them to a plate with tongs.
Brush the honey-garlic sauce over both sides of the chops, then return them to the pan. Cook for 1 minute per side, turning once, until the glaze bubbles and lightly caramelizes.
Let the pork chops rest for 2 minutes. Spoon over any pan juices, then finish with chopped parsley before serving.
If you do not have rice vinegar, apple cider vinegar works well as a substitute. Avoid adding the honey sauce too early or it may burn. Leftover pork chops can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 3 days and reheated gently in a skillet.
