This easy homemade chocolate bark is a colorful, crunchy treat made with swirled chocolate, biscuits, and your favorite toppings. It is perfect for gifting, parties, holiday trays, or a quick no-bake dessert.
Melt the milk or dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of gently simmering water, stirring until smooth. Remove from the heat. Melt the white chocolate the same way, or microwave each chocolate separately in 20- to 30-second bursts, stirring between bursts.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Use a large baking sheet for thinner bark or a smaller tray if you prefer thicker, chunkier pieces.
Pour the melted milk or dark chocolate onto the prepared tray. Tilt the tray or use a spatula to spread it into an even layer at your preferred thickness.
Spoon small dollops of melted white chocolate over the dark or milk chocolate, reserving a little for finishing. Drag the tip of a knife or skewer through the chocolate to create a marbled swirl.
Scatter the broken biscuits over the surface, then drizzle with the reserved white chocolate. Add sprinkles, chopped nuts, or sweets while the chocolate is still soft.
Leave the bark in a cool place until completely set, or refrigerate briefly if your kitchen is warm. Break or cut into pieces before serving or wrapping.
For the cleanest snap, let the chocolate set fully before cutting. Avoid overheating the chocolate, especially white chocolate, as it can seize or turn grainy. Store bark in an airtight container in a cool place for up to 1 week, or refrigerate if your kitchen is warm.
