
Preheat the oven to 250 C (475 F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.


Pat the salmon dry with paper towels. Brush both sides with melted butter, then season evenly with minced garlic, black pepper, oregano, and salt.
Place the salmon on the prepared tray and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, depending on thickness, until it flakes easily with a fork and reaches 63 C (145 F) in the thickest part.
Rest the salmon for 2 minutes before serving so the juices settle. Spoon any melted garlic butter from the tray over the top.
